My name is Margaux Marmouget. I am a French native speaker. I grew up in France where I studied History for three years before moving out to Belgium. I lived In Bruxelles for 4 years and get a second licence degree in information and communication. I am also graduated with a master degree in social anthropology.
My thesis was on the Japanese culture (public spaces & private spaces in Japan) ; social sciences (history, sociology, literature, philosophy) are a real passion and that’s why I have decided to specialize and work with the French langage.
First of all, I am experienced in academic writing (scientific articles, essays ...) and familiar with the processes and researches that accompany the writing of meticulous and pertinent articles. Since 2017, when I decided to become self-employed, I mainly work as a translator (from English into French), specialized in audiovisual contents though I am always willing yo expand the scope of my abilities! Thanks to my latest client, the company Hiventy, I am aware of the rules of Netflix and the other streaming platforms. I have worked on many titles for Netflix (Harry & Meghan ; The Playlist), for TV5Monde or for Mezzo.
Even if I am specialized in audiovisual contents, I can work on many fields (enterprise, law and other non-specialized subjects for example).
In addition to that, I have a perfect command of the french grammar, spelling, conjugation and syntax (you can refer to the testes I passed on Upwork)
